The X17 and X15 gaming mice have expanded to EVGA’s portfolio. They support Nvidia Reflex technology, giving gamers the ability to accurately measure system latency.
This technology includes Nvidia’s Reflex Latency Analyzer, “a revolutionary tool for measuring system latency.” It detects button clicks on compatible EVGA X17 and X15 mice, and then measures the time until the corresponding pixels are displayed on the monitor, which supports Nvidia’s G-Sync adaptive sync technology.
The manufacturer claims that previously such measurements were almost impossible for gamers, since they required expensive equipment, including specialized high-speed cameras. However, in competitive gaming, success depends a lot on system responsiveness, which is how quickly the display refreshes after clicks or mouse movements. Reflex Latency Analyzer gives gamers an objective and accurate view of how well a mouse, PC and monitor system is performing.
To be clear, to measure latency, in addition to a gaming mouse such as the EVGA X17 or X15, you need a GeForce RTX 30 series graphics card and a monitor with Nvidia G-Sync support.

For now, the RX 6000 line is more power efficient than the GeForce RTX 30, although the difference isn’t huge. Previously, there were rumors that the top-end RX 7900 XT will consume 450 watts versus 600 watts in the case of the RTX 4090, but so far these are just rumors.
