EVGA Unveils its flagship GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN Hybrid with hybrid liquid cooling for $ 2,000

A few days ago, EVGA introduced their own RTX 30 graphics cards in Hydro Cooper and Hybrid versions. Today, the manufacturer announces its flagship EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN card in Hybrid performance.

The EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN Hybrid is arguably one of the fastest performing RTX 3090s to date. In addition, the video card is packed with everything that is possible. Since this is a Hybrid version, the graphics card is cooled using LSS and fans. The video card itself houses a 120mm fan with 9 blades. Inside the model is a large copper heatsink that covers the PCB elements, while the GPU is cooled by a copper pump plate. At the other end of the circuit is a system of three 360mm fans.

Another interesting feature of the KINGPIN Hybrid model is the small OLED display (176 x 48 pixels), which is located on the bottom of the backplate. The display will show some useful information, such as temperature, and support up to 9 GIF animations, 6 of which will be built by the manufacturer and 3 the user will be able to download himself.

The most interesting thing about this KINGPIN series is overclocking. EVGA has installed three BIOSes on this card at once, which are configured using a switch on the video card itself. BIOS has three profiles: Normal, OC and LN2. For inexperienced users, the option with Normal and OC is suitable, and LN2 is aimed primarily at extreme overclockers, as it allows you to increase the maximum power consumption and disables some built-in protection functions. By the way, three 8-pin connectors are provided to power the video card.

The characteristics of the video card are as follows:

The EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN Hybrid is priced at a hefty $ 2,000. In addition, only those users who have the EVGA Elite status, which provides that the user has already bought the company’s products and left more than a hundred messages on the official forum, will be able to purchase the video card.
