Even Nvidia itself is shy about the $500 RTX 4060 Ti 16GB? Neither Nvidia nor the manufacturers want to send such cards for reviews before the start of sales.

GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB should hit the market on July 18, however, apparently, no reviews may appear before the release of the new product. Reportedly, neither Nvidia itself nor graphics card manufacturers are eager to send new cards to thematic resources before the start of sales.

Even Nvidia itself is shy about the $500 RTX 4060 Ti 16GB? Neither Nvidia nor the manufacturers want to send such cards for reviews before the start of sales.

Hardware Unboxed claims that there is no official review program for the upcoming card.

So the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB should arrive this month on the 18th. I can’t confirm or deny this as I don’t really know, but Nvidia already announced the release in July. There is currently no official review program for this model, there will be no FE version and it seems that Nvidia and their partners are very reluctant to think about it. All the Nvidia partners I’ve spoken to so far have said they won’t provide review samples, and they’re not even sure when their model will be available. So I don’t know when you will be able to view our review, but I will buy it as soon as I can. I expect the coverage to be pretty thin and that’s probably the plan, the release strategy here is similar to that of the RTX 3080 12GB

That is, apparently, both Nvidia itself and video card manufacturers understand that RTX 4060 Ti for $ 500 and above is a very controversial decision, despite 16 GB of memory, so they don’t want gamers to be convinced of this in advance. Moreover, as you can see, some manufacturers do not even know when they will start selling such adapters, and we have already heard that most do not want to release this model at all.

Given that even for $400, the regular RTX 4060 Ti sucks, according to the same HU, a modification with 16 GB of memory, which will be close to the RTX 4070 in price, will clearly be even worse in terms of price-performance ratio.

The Radeon RX 7800 XT can be made to consume

The Radeon RX 7800 XT video card, at its price of $500, performed well against the RTX 4070, which costs $600. However, the latter is much more energy efficient. Tests from the Techtesters channel have shown that, if desired, an AMD card can also be made much more efficient.

The Radeon RX 7800 XT can be made to consume only 200 W of power, and at the same time it will still not lose to the GeForce RTX 4070 in terms of performance

It turned out that the consumption of the RX 7800 XT can be lowered to the level of the RTX 4070, that is, about 200 W. Moreover, even in this mode, AMD’s new product is not inferior to its competitor. True, an Nvidia card can also be undervolted, but this was not done in this test.

As for the performance loss of the AMD adapter, Gigabyte’s overclocked RX 7800 XT consumes 40% more power than the version with a reduced power limit, while the former performs only 9% better.

Laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors will cost a pretty

Intel will release Meteor Lake processors in mid-December. And although it is not yet clear when exactly the first laptops will go on sale, judging by recent data, these very first laptops will be very expensive.

Laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors will cost a pretty penny. Models will start at over $1,500

At the last event, Intel showed laptops from both its own brand and Acer models. Apparently, Acer will be one of the first to equip its mobile PCs with new CPUs. And the prices of these mobile PCs are expected to exceed $1,500.

More specifically, prices in the Taiwan market are expected to exceed NT$50,000, which is about $1,560 at current exchange rates. True, this is already taking into account taxes.

The UDN resource also confirms that most laptops with Core Ultra processors will be released in 2024.

Thus, apparently, the Core Ultra models will occupy the upper price segment, while in the middle and lower there will be models from the Raptor Lake Refresh line.

Intel will bombard the market with processors of different generations

Intel today introduced Meteor Lake mobile processors, which it calls a revolutionary step forward. In addition, Intel spoke about the next generations of its CPUs.

Intel will bombard the market with processors of different generations. Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake, and Panther Lake will be released in 2024

In total, over the next year we will see three: Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake and Panther Lake. Of course, this does not mean that Intel will replace three generations of processors in a year.

Arrow Lake will be available in both desktop and mobile segments. On desktop, they will replace the Raptor Lake Refresh line, which will be released in October. In mobile, apparently, Arrow Lake will coexist with Meteor Lake, a game in the segment of higher-performance solutions. Such CPUs will be produced partly at Intel facilities using the Intel 20A process technology and partly at TSMC facilities using the N3 process technology.

Lunar Lake processors, as it turns out, will be similar to Meteor Lake in that they will be available only in the mobile segment. It is unclear whether this division is temporary or whether Intel will now continue to divide its CPU lines in this way. Lunar Lake will also be released next year. Given that this is technically a replacement for Meteor Lake, perhaps late next year.

Panther Lake will be available in both the mobile and desktop segments, that is, they will replace Arrow Lake. But in this case, it is unclear why they should also be expected in 2024, because the same Arrow Lake in this case will be relevant for less than a year.
