Employees of Apple and Twitter are driven to the offices. You can get fired for working from home
Zoe Schiffer, who was recently managing editor of Twitter and now holds the same position at Platformer, said that Apple strictly monitors how employees visit offices.
Apple tracks employee attendance (using electronic badge records) and alerts employees if they don’t show up to the office at least 3 times a week.

Some at Apple, according to Schiffer, say that non-compliance could lead to dismissal, but she added that this does not seem like company policy.
In addition, she revealed that her former boss, Elon Musk, sent an email to Twitter employees at 2:30 a.m. stating that “office visits are no longer optional.” The billionaire noticed that the San Francisco office was half empty when he last visited.

iOS 17.4 firmware messes up typing on some iPhones
The latest iOS 17.4 update has made autocorrect worse when typing, as reported by various iPhone users. Even if auto-correction is enabled in the settings, it does not work well, so users have to correct errors themselves.
While the exact cause is still under investigation, reports have emerged that this issue is primarily affecting older iPhone models. The specific models and total number of affected devices have not yet been determined.
Apple is already addressing this issue. The company is preparing to release the iOS/iPadOS 17.4.1 update in the next few days. This update, numbered 21E235, promises to resolve autocorrect issues.
In the meantime, you can try restarting your smartphone.

Android 15 will learn to compress applications tens of times. The work of the new App Archiving function has already been shown on video
Android 15 will learn to compress installed applications significantly.
The new App Archiving feature was originally discovered in Android 15 last month, and now there are details and even a video with an example of how this feature works.
Archiving the application will significantly reduce the amount of memory occupied by this software. For example, the Uber application after archiving is reduced from 387 to 18 MB, that is, more than 20 times.
True, there is a nuance. Of course, you cannot simply compress an application tens of times and maintain its performance at the original level. As you can see in the example, after launching the archived application, it is downloaded again from Google Play and only then launched. Probably, archiving saves user data and settings, but deletes the software itself, so then you have to download it again. That is, constantly archiving various applications will be completely pointless.
However, this function is suitable for applications that are used very rarely, and for various reasons you do not want to delete them or cannot. In addition, Android 15 will offer an automatic archiving feature for long-unused programs.
Considering the size of some modern apps and the lack of memory card support on many modern smartphones, this could be a really useful feature.
