Eluktronics Launches First 165Hz QHD Notebooks

When choosing gaming laptops, users often face a problem: large resolutions do not support high screen refresh rates. Quickbars support 1080p resolution, while 4K can offer 60Hz refresh rates. Eluktronics produces 3 laptops in which the user is offered a QHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

Similar specifications can be found on the Eluktronics MECH-15 G3 QHD Edition, MAX-15 QHD-Edition and MAX-17 QHD-Edition. In all cases, the company offers builds on the Intel i7-10870H platform with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics. The manufacturer installs a PCIe NVMe SSD with 1 TB of available disk space (there is an additional M.2 PCIe bay) and 16 GB of DDR4 2933 MHz RAM (2 slots).

MAX-15 QHD-Edition

Laptops use BOE IPS panels, which we will surely see in the future from other manufacturers. The declared brightness is 318 nits, the response time is 2.5 ms. The sRGB color space coverage is 87%. Color correction declared delta E <2.

MECH-15 G3 QHD-Edition

The MECH-15 G3 QHD Edition has a 15.6 “display with a weight of 2.1 kg and a 94 Wh battery. The MAX-15 QHD-Edition comes with a similar diagonal but weighs 1.73 kg and is equipped with a 62.33 battery This model looks thinner and more compact. The Eluktronics MAX-17 QHD-Edition boasts a 17.3 “screen, weighs 2.1 kg and a 91.24 Wh battery.

All models use a high quality RGB membrane keyboard with 20 million keystrokes, THX Spatial Audio with smart amplifier, Intel WiFi 6 AX201, Bluetooth 5.0 support.

MAX-17 QHD-Edition

Eluktronics laptops are currently available in the homeland of the manufacturer – in the United States, where users receive a game set from the company, as well as shipping to other countries. A presentation of analogs can be expected during CES 2021.
