Elon Musk, Tesla’s chief executive, is continuing his Twitter purchase after previously trying to back out of a $44 billion deal.

The world’s richest man on Wednesday said he was excited about the upcoming acquisition of Twitter, even though he and other investors are clearly overpaying for the company and the social network of the same name.

Musk called Twitter an asset that has been “wasting away” for a long time: “I and other investors are now clearly overpaying for Twitter. In my opinion, Twitter’s long-term potential is an order of magnitude greater than its current value.”

Musk was also optimistic about Tesla. Tesla, which now has a market cap of less than $700 billion, could be worth more than the combined value of Apple Inc., he said. ($2.3 trillion) and oil producer Saudi Aramco ($2.1 trillion).

Musk has been trying to raise cash to fund the Twitter purchase, and some experts say he may need to sell another $3 billion in stock after Tesla’s quarterly report.

A Delaware judge has ordered a stay on Twitter Inc’s lawsuit against Elon Musk, giving the billionaire until October 28 to close the deal.

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, Neuralink and Boring Company, said on Wednesday that he has no current plan to combine them with Twitter under one roof.

The Twitter Blue subscription will cost 7 but not on

The media reported that Twitter decided to change the price of the Blue subscription. It will cost $7, but you will have to pay $11 in the App Store right away to offset the 30% commission that Apple takes. Such a commission is valid for the first year, then it drops to 15%. It is possible that the subscription price will also drop in the coming December.

Earlier, Elon Musk has already spoken out against Apple for such a high commission and said that the corporation threatened to remove Twitter from the App Store. Later, after meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook, Mac said there were no such threats. In addition, earlier the businessman postponed the launch of a paid subscription, fearing the same high commission.

Thus, when paying through the web version, the price will be significantly lower, although it is not yet clear whether these are just plans for the future or a ready-made scenario.

Earlier it was reported that after Musk bought it on Twitter, many employees of Tesla and The Boring Company, as well as some of the billionaire’s relatives, went to work.

This is another unspoken sign of disrespect the Twitter office

According to Forbes, earlier this week, Twitter employees discovered several sleeping areas in the company’s San Francisco office. They were organized in conference rooms, where beds and bedside tables with lamps appeared.

The whistleblower and Twitter said employees were given no explanation for the change and suggested that the beds are for the remaining “hardcore” employees so they can stay overnight in the office. “This is another unspoken sign of disrespect. No one discussed this with us,” said one of the employees.

Last month, CEO Elon Musk gave the thousands of employees remaining at the company the option to leave or stay on the condition that they work hard under Twitter 2.0. Since taking over as owner and CEO, Musk has fired at least half of Twitter’s employees, with many leaving of their own accord.

Another source, who wished to remain anonymous, suggested that there could be “four to eight of these bedrooms per floor,” adding that “they look comfortable.”

One room’s trash bin was reportedly filled with trash, meaning someone had already slept there: “People are already working late into the night, so that kind of makes sense.”

According to Business Insider, the American billionaire and owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, brought quite a few people to the company, among whom were employees of his other companies and relatives.

We reported this morning that Elon Musk briefly lost his title as the richest man in the world on Wednesday, according to Forbes.

Google degrades in Google Photos the definition of the place

Google has warned users about a new location policy for Google Photos (Google Photos).

Google degrades in Google Photos the definition of the place where the photo was taken

Google Photos will stop using a user account’s location history to determine where specific pictures were taken, according to a new support document. This policy will apply to users who have opted out of sharing location data for the camera app for privacy reasons.

Until now, if you didn’t allow the camera app to use your current location, Google Photos used two methods to roughly estimate where you took the photo. First, the app will try to identify visible landmarks in your photos, and second, it will use your location history to narrow down the area.

However, now Google Photos will rely solely on trying to identify landmarks in photos. As you can easily guess, this method is noticeably less reliable.

Google notes that the change has already started rolling out to some Google Photos users, with a full rollout expected in the coming months.
