Elon Musk is accused of sexual harassment: he allegedly offered the flight attendant to have sex with him, promising to buy her a horse
The first sexual harassment scandal is unfolding on the Web, where Elon Musk is the accused.
The Business Insider resource published an investigation according to which in 2016 Musk harassed a flight attendant on board one of the SpaceX aircraft.
According to the source, the flight attendant admitted to a friend that after she got a job as a flight attendant, she was offered to get a massage therapist license so that she could massage Musk. During one of the flights, the billionaire asked her to come to his cabin “for a full body massage.” When she arrived, she found that Musk “was completely naked except for a sheet covering the lower half of his body.” During the massage, Musk allegedly “exposed his genitals” and then “touched her and offered to buy her a horse if she ‘does more’, referring to sexual intercourse.” The woman refused.
Later, as she herself claims, she became convinced that the refusal of the head of SpaceX led to the restriction of her opportunities to work in the company. Exactly how these restrictions manifested itself is not said. As a result, in 2018, the girl hired a California lawyer and sent a complaint to the SpaceX personnel department with a detailed description of the whole situation.
The complaint was quickly resolved after a meeting with the mediator, which Musk attended in person. The case never went to court, and in November 2018, the parties to the conflict entered into an agreement under which the flight attendant received compensation in the amount of $ 250,000 in exchange for a promise not to sue over claims. Of course, the agreement also included a non-disclosure clause. It is worth adding here that the source learned the whole story from the stewardess’s friend and from some documents.
Musk reacted very quickly to the article, claiming it was a lie.
And, for your information, these wild accusations are completely untrue.
If I was prone to sexual harassment, it would hardly be the first time in my entire 30-year career that this would become known.
In addition, Musk clearly considers the article to be custom-made and related to his recent political statements.
Attacks on me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard method – but nothing will stop me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech.
Musk also stated that this story is much bigger, but has not yet revealed the details. Apparently, something did happen in 2016, but it’s not a fact that Musk decides to tell all the details.
