Twitter has about 2,300 employees, according to Elon Musk in a tweet posted on Saturday.

Elon Musk has denied the information about the number of staff Twitter

“These data are incorrect. Twitter has about 2,300 active employees,” the American billionaire wrote in response to information previously published by CNBC.

He added that hundreds of employees still work on the trust and safety team (rather than 20 people as CNBC claimed). Twitter also has several thousand contractors.

Musk took over Twitter in October and quickly made a series of changes and cuts, laying off about 50% of the staff.

The new system is expected to allow bank accounts to connect to Twitter to transfer money directly. According to the owner of the social network Elon Musk, this encourages authors to create more content, which will allow the service itself to earn.

This innovation will be another step towards creating a “super app”, which, for example, is the Chinese WeChat service. It has the functions of payment for goods, a news block. messenger, identification system and much more.

The source claims that the infrastructure for the new service is being built by a small team led by Twitter director of product management Esther Crawford. At first, the system will support only traditional currencies, but in the future it will also be possible to work with “crypto”.

Launch dates have not yet been announced.

Microsoft has significantly redesigned its famous graphic editor Paint with the release of the Windows 11 operating system. However, the application still lacks dark mode support.

Redesigned Paint with a dark theme is already available on any version of Windows 11, but Microsoft has nothing to do with it

It’s been a few months since the redesigned Paint app was released, but Windows Insiders Testers have yet to get access to the dark theme.

However, WindowsLatest has published a selection of screenshots that showcase the dark theme in the new Paint. Unfortunately, you can only customize Windows with additional dark mode effects using a new open-source third-party app called Windhawk. A mod has been added to Windhawk that enables support for hidden dark mode in Paint on any version of Windows 11 (21H2 or newer).

As noted in WindowsLatest, dark mode support for Paint is already present in the OS, but to activate it, you will either have to manually edit the application code or use the Windhawk mod. It’s also worth noting that third-party “hacks” are generally not recommended for enabling hidden features. Therefore, you can try Windhawk solely at your own peril and risk, or better, only on a virtual machine.
