Among the new iPhone 15, the most autonomous, as we already know, was not the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but it took second place. Now, as Apple’s best solution at the moment, it has been compared with other flagships on the market.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, OnePlus 11, Xiaomi 13 Ultra took part in the battle against the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max was also taken for greater effect.

The first to drop out of the race was the Pixel 7 Pro, as having the most power-hungry platform. The device worked for 8 hours 13 minutes. OnePlus 11 was the second to give in, but the gap from the outsider turned out to be very large: the Chinese device worked for 9 hours and 48 minutes. The iPhone 14 Pro Max lasted literally a little longer: 9 hours 59 minutes.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra worked for exactly 10 hours, the Samsung flagship worked 27 minutes longer, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max took first place with a result of 10 hours and 31 minutes.

Of course, all autonomy tests are carried out differently, so the results may differ, although not radically. But we can state that, firstly, Apple’s flagship is better again this year, and secondly, its advantage over some competitors is not particularly significant.

Samsung is working like a bee on new versions of the One UI 6 interface for its current flagships of the Galaxy S23 series: the third beta version was released a week ago, a few days later a fix for a number of problems appeared, and now the fourth beta version has been released. Interestingly, in addition to fixing a number of problems, it contains the October Android security updates – a very quick job.

The update size is 1 GB. The new firmware was initially released in the USA, but is already available in other countries. However, in some countries that later joined the beta test, only Beta 3 is currently available.

The fourth beta version of One UI 6 is not the last, as Samsung has not yet eliminated all the shortcomings and shortcomings.

The iPhone 15 finally gets a USB-C port, something many have been waiting for. But after the start of sales, it became clear that everything with this function is very ambiguous. So, as it turned out, not all cables from famous brands are compatible with the iPhone 15, and now official Apple stores in China have even begun to dissuade users from using cables for Android smartphones with the iPhone 15.

The first such store was the Apple Store in Foshan (Guangdong Province), but now users report that they have begun to receive similar recommendations from other stores. Points of sale believe that using third-party cables may cause overheating. This is due to the peculiarities of the location of the contacts.

Such recommendations caused a flurry of criticism against official Apple stores. Firstly, many have already been able to verify the compatibility of their brand new iPhone 15 with third-party cables. Secondly, there is an opinion that in this way Apple persuades users to purchase original cables, which are much more expensive than third-party ones.
