Cooling specialist EK has unveiled the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3080/3090 active rear panel. This panel complements the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3080/3090 waterblock by providing heat dissipation to the back of the ROG Strix RTX 3080/3090 PCB.

The set of the active back panel includes a terminal for connecting to the water block, which replaces its standard terminal. After replacement, the water block and active back panel are a single unit that connects to the liquid cooling system using one inlet and one outlet. According to the manufacturer, the presence of water blocks on both sides of the board provides maximum cooling and gives the video card an attractive appearance.

The coolant flow passes along all heat sources, and an array of eight channels is formed opposite the GPU to increase the heat exchange area. The base of the product is made of copper and nickel-plated, and the material of the upper part is black or transparent plastic. The second option features addressable full color backlighting compatible with common backlight control systems. Elements outside the coolant path are made of aluminum and nickel-plated or black anodized.
