EK, a computer cooling solutions company, has unveiled the EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3070 Ti D-RGB waterblock for EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming and EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming.

A full-coverage waterblock removes heat from the GPU, adjacent video memory chips, chokes, and voltage regulators included in the power subsystem.

In the description of the water block, the optimized trajectory of the coolant flow is noted, eliminating the risk of dead zones that reduce the cooling efficiency, and low hydraulic resistance, which allows the water block to be used in conjunction with even low-power pumps. The advantages of the water block include the same high efficiency in any direction of flow.

Intel has not yet released all the processors of the Alder Lake family (Core 12), and the next generation flagship, Raptor Lake, has already appeared on the Web. It is expected that these processors will be released by the end of next year and will differ from Alder Lake in more cores and slightly increased frequency.

In this case, there are 24 computing cores – 8 large (new generation, Raptor Cove) and 16 small (current generation, Gracemont). Only large ones support multithreading, so the CPU allows 32 threads to execute at the same time. The processor was tested on a platform with DDR5 memory, but according to rumors, Intel in the next generation of the CPU will retain the ability to choose the type of memory – DDR5 or DDR4. The workflow and socket will remain the same as for Alder Lake.
