EA unveils Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit remaster

For a long time, rumors circulated on the network that EA was planning to release a remaster of the cult Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, and today, on October 5, the first official video was released. In it, the developers told a short story about two rivals, one of whom lost the race seven years ago, and all the time cannot understand how the rival managed to pass the map in 5 minutes and 10 seconds. At the end of the video, he receives a disc with a remaster and goes to beat the record. The very same gameplay, judging by the video, has not changed much – it’s still the same intense race with chases and skirmishes against the cops.

Also in the video, the authors of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered in the form of Easter eggs talked about the main features of the product. First, gamers will receive all the add-ons that have been released during the existence of the racing simulator. Secondly, the developers promise a new generation of graphics with a lot of improvements and improvements. And thirdly, the game has acquired the Autolog system – a multiplayer service that allows players to compare their achievements, share content, and so on. In addition, the developers have promised a crossplay.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 6 (RUB 1,999 on Steam, RUB 2,899 on PS Store and $ 40 on Microsoft Store). The game will also be released on November 13 on Nintendo Switch, the price has not yet been announced.
