Just a few weeks away from the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, the Techland studio continues its communication full of figures to convince players wishing to get their money’s worth. After promising 500 hours of gameplay over the past weekend, the development team has today promised to provide a robust follow-up for the zombie FPS over the next 5 years.

In one tweet posted on the game’s official account, Techland promises “expand the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human” for “at least 5 years” after the release of the game. A whole slew of post-launch content is thus promised, with “new stories, new places and in-game events“, among others. It is not yet known whether it will be paid or free additional content for the title. Note that the first Dying Light had received strong support after its release in 2015 with more than twenty different DLCs, as well as a season pass integrating two paid content extensions.

Who says better ?

We do not know if the members of Techland have Marseille roots, but this is not the first time this month that the Polish studio has split wild promises based on grandiloquent figures. Last week, another tweet reported on the time needed to finish Dying Light 2 100% for the handful of players who would like to finish the title from top to bottom: 500 hours, neither more nor less.

So obviously, this promise has been talked about a lot, and some already saw it as a game filled to the brim with filler missions to expand its lifespan. Techland then clarified in the process that to complete the main campaign would only take about twenty hours, while going around the secondary quests would be around 80 hours of play. This famous indication of 500 hours indicated the estimated time to finish not only the scenario and its appendices, but also “all endings, all game map locations, all dialogues and find all collectibles“.

The output of Dying Light 2 Stay Human is expected on February 4 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox ONe, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Why GTA VI with such success of GTA V The

Against the backdrop of active mergers and acquisitions in the gaming market, the corresponding question was asked by Take Two Interactive, which is primarily known as the owner of Rockstar and, accordingly, the GTA franchise.

Why GTA VI with such success of GTA V? The game has sold over 165 million copies.

Judging by the answer, now the company is not considering the possibility of selling itself to anyone.

We are a public company and we are here for the shareholders. However, our track record of creating value as an independent business is amazing, especially if we exclude the last three months. We think there are many great times ahead for us and we enjoy being an independent company.

One of the main reasons Take Two Interactive is unlikely to want to sell its assets to anyone is the success of GTA V. The company said that it sold another 5 million copies of the game in the last quarter, so now the total circulation is an incredible 165 million copies.

Speaking about the finances of Take Two Interactive, we can note the report on the results of the 2022 financial year, which ended on March 31 for the company. Revenue was $3.5 billion, up 4%. Net profit decreased from 589 to 418 million dollars.
