Duster will receive an improved successor: Dacia Bigster will be launched into mass production

As an important part of the Renault-Nissan group, the Dacia brand plays a central role in its strategic change called Renaulution. In 2021, the Bigster concept car was introduced, and now it has been announced that the model will go into series production, but not until 2025.

The Bigster is a C-segment SUV, but at 4.60 meters long, it sits at the top end of the compact class. For comparison: the current Dacia Duster, also officially classified as C-segment, has a length of 4.34 meters. The successor to the Duster, which is already expected in 2024, should also be 4.30 meters long. Technically, the new Duster will be closely related to the Bigster series and will be built on the same platform.

Visually, the larger Bigster should be very different, offering more comfort and options. Dacia Bigster will be built on the CMF-B platform, which means a wide range of powertrains. It is expected that the base version will receive a 1-liter gasoline “aspirated” with a capacity of 65 hp, which is installed in the Sandero. There will also be a 90-horsepower turbocharged engine, while the older one will get a 128-horsepower 1.3-liter engine from Captur.

The platform can also be electrified. Renault, Dacia’s parent company, has also hinted that the Dacia Bigster lineup could feature a Clio E-Tech hybrid powertrain that develops 138bhp. In addition, a new hybrid transmission designed for SUVs is currently being created. It will receive a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 200 hp.

Someone was very lucky 850 bitcoins were bought at 8900

Tonight, March 19, Bitcoin experienced a sharp drop to $8,900 on the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange. This abnormal collapse lasted only a few minutes, but during this time about 850 BTC were purchased. After this, the rate of the first cryptocurrency quickly recovered and synchronized with the rest of the market.

BitMEX representatives said they are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. According to them, the sharp decline in the price of Bitcoin had no impact on the value of derivatives traded on the platform.

Someone was very lucky: 850 bitcoins were bought at $8900

Some suggest that this could be a deliberate manipulation in order to collapse the price and buy up bitcoins at a reduced rate. Others believe that the reason could have been a glitch in the exchange’s trading algorithms or an error by one of the major traders.

Bitcoin, which rose above $73,000 last week, is now undergoing a correction and has already dropped below $64,000.

Starliner is already at the Kennedy Space Center as part of pre-flight preparation. The process is not quick, since this will be the first manned mission of the device. In addition, the process of refueling the ship has already begun, which will last more than two weeks.

The mission is currently scheduled for May, although it has been postponed several times before. The spacecraft will be launched into orbit by the United Launch Alliance's (ULA) Atlas V launch vehicle.

As part of the Crew Flight Test (CFT) mission, the Boeing spacecraft will carry NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams to the ISS. Starliner had already flown twice before, but both times without a crew, and during the first flight there were certain problems with the ship.

The problem occurs when the user locks the exposure when shooting at 1.6-1.9x and 4.6-9.9x zoom. Samsung is already aware of this situation, the problem will be fixed in one of the next firmware updates.

However, Galaxy S24 users are experiencing problems not only with the camera: some report that smartphones are not unlocked by face in conditions with a slight lack of light, while if you unlock the device in a different way and turn on the front camera, the face is clearly visible. There are also difficulties with transferring the screen to TV via Miracast: while the Galaxy A52, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra broadcast the image to the TV without problems, the Galaxy S24 does not do this. Samsung has not yet said anything about the difficulties with Face Unlock and Miracast.
