Dozens of Intel processor models, including some of the older ones, will now receive new drivers less frequently. The company moved them to the obsolete CPU section.
Intel has decided to move a huge number of its processors to the rank of obsolete. In this case, this applies primarily to graphics drivers.
The 6th to 10th generation Core CPUs are now considered obsolete, as well as all Atom, Pentium and Celeron processors corresponding to these generations. That is, even relatively fresh Commet Lake and Ice Lake CPUs are no longer in the current driver branch. Recall that Intel has long divided graphics drivers into current and obsolete. The latter are updated less frequently.
In general, the company simply obsolete many lines based on the Skylake microarchitecture, which dominated the market for several years, in one fell swoop. However, the same Ice Lake does not apply to it, but it still belongs to the tenth generation of Core, so Intel did not make an exception for them.

Intel hinted at the prices of older graphics cards Arc A770 and A750

Intel is still keeping the intrigue and does not name the exact prices for its Arc A770 and Arc A750 video cards. However, it seems that the chipmaker himself hinted at their cost.
As noted, participants in the Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt contest can choose the Core i7-12700K and Core i5-12600K processors as a prize – this is offered as an alternative to the Arc A770 and Arc A750, respectively. Thus, knowing the recommended prices for chips, you can roughly calculate the prices of video cards.
This suggests that the price of the top-end Arc A770 will not exceed $410, and the Arc A750 – $290. Of course, this is just an estimated cost.
Note that the letters received by the participants of the event say that the cards will debut soon, but it will not be specified whether this will happen in the summer. Perhaps they will appear in the fall.
In terms of specifications, the A770 will be based on the ACM-G10 GPU with 4096 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz. She is promised 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory with an effective frequency of 15.5 GHz, as well as a 256-bit bus.
The Arc A750 version will get the same chip but with 3584 cores. Also, the card will have 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 15.5 GHz and a 256-bit bus.

Ethereum is growing and graphics card prices continue to fall. Radeon RX 6900 XT sells for $700 in the US – 30% off the recommended price
Nvidia’s flagship GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card has dropped to almost $1,000 in the US, but AMD’s top-end graphics cards are also dropping in price, with the Radeon RX 6900 XT hitting a low this week, dropping to $700. Not so long ago, the Radeon RX 6700 XT was sold for that kind of money.
Formally, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is not the top model in the AMD line, as there is the Radeon RX 6950 XT. But the difference between them is quite small. With its 16GB of GDDR6 memory, 256-bit bus, 5120 stream processors, the Radeon RX 6900 XT will be relevant for a long time to come.
Interestingly, the new price low of the Radeon RX 6900 XT was recorded against the backdrop of an increase in the cost of Ethereum. It can be assumed that by introducing new discounts, sellers are starting to clear out warehouses before the release of the Radeon RX 7000 line of video cards.

Intel Core i9-12900KF drops to $500 in US – Now it’s on par with Ryzen 9 5950X
The flagship Intel Core i9-12900KF has dropped significantly in the US, dropping from $615 to $500 and now offering the same price as the Ryzen 9 5950X (again, in the US). The CPU is offered by a trusted and reputable seller, although returns are not accepted.
The Core i9-12900KF is a 16-core processor with 8 high performance cores (Golden Cove) and 8 energy efficient cores (Gracemont). Large cores are overclocked to 5.2 GHz. The third level cache is 30 MB, the TDP level is 125 watts. The Core i9-12900KF is fully consistent with the Core i9-12900K, with the only difference that it has the integrated graphics core disabled.
