Disassembly showed how the Mini-LED display of the Apple iPad Pro tablet works

Published

on

IFixit experts got to the top iPad Pro tablet, based on the SoC M1 and equipped with a Mini-LED screen.

As usual, it was dismantled, but so far no mark for maintainability has been given. In the video below, you can see the disassembly process, as well as the structure of the same Mini-LED backlight, which stands out for the tablet.

Recall that we are talking about an ordinary liquid crystal screen, the backlight of which has not tens or hundreds, but thousands of LEDs.

The video clearly shows how tiny those same LEDs are. Such screens are still rare, although some notebooks are already equipped with them.
