Did you miss the horror movies? New Resident Evil in all its glory with demo and release date

Capcom has revealed new information about the new horror movie Resident Evil Village, naming the platforms on which the game will be available, as well as the release date.

Those interested can try out the demo version of Resident Evil Village, which is currently only available on one platform. Unfortunately, there are not so many PlayStation 5 owners so far, because only users of this console can try the game. The demo, dubbed Maiden, is available for download from the PlayStation Store.

Capcom claims Maiden is slightly different from the traditional demo. Rather than playing through part of the full game, Maiden is “a kind of short side story that takes place in the same world as Resident Evil Village, but at a different time from the main story.” In the demo, you play as a girl trying to escape from a castle in the heart of Resident Evil Village. Capcom immediately noted that there are no fight scenes in Maiden, but there are enough frightening moments there.

As for the trailer, it introduces us to the mentioned castle and its inhabitants, in particular, Lady Dimitrescu and her three daughters. In addition to the trailer, Capcom also showed gameplay and combat moments, announcing that we will face new enemies with different fighting styles and that the hero will have more options for defense.

Capcom also said that as part of its 25th anniversary celebration of Resident Evil, those who buy Resident Evil Village will also have access to Resident Evil Re: Verse, which features “fan favorite characters fighting in familiar locations in the Resident Evil universe.”

The game will be released on May 7, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Steam. PlayStation 4 North America will have a free digital upgrade to PlayStation 5, and Xbox One will use Smart Delivery.

The creators of Nothing Phone 1 want to compete with

The company Nothing, which released a smartphone with a transparent back panel Nothing Phone (1), plans to soon enter the US market and compete with Apple there.

Carl Pei, the co-founder of Chinese mobile phone maker OnePlus, is in talks with US carriers to launch a new smartphone in the US, Pei revealed in an interview with CNBC without naming any carrier. So far, the company has only released its smartphone in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, but not in the US or Canada.

The reason we didn’t launch in the US is because you need more tech support to support all carriers and their unique customizations they need to do on top of Android. We felt we weren’t ready before. We are currently in talks with some carriers in the US about a possible launch of a future product there.

However, a third of sales of its Nothing Ear (1) fully wireless headphones are currently in the US.

This is definitely a market that already has a lot of interest in our products. And if we launch our smartphones there, I’m sure we can achieve significant growth.

The company expects its revenue to grow more than tenfold in 2022, from about $20 million in 2021 to about $250 million. The company plans to become profitable in 2024.
