Details about the Valdai Next racing truck, which will take part in the Baikal Mile 2023 international festival of speed, which started on March 7, have been revealed. As it turned out, from the serial “Valdai Next” in this model, except perhaps the cabin.
So, the racing truck is based on the all-wheel drive GAZelle – a spar frame, front axle and front spring suspension are borrowed from it. And the rear axle with air suspension came from Gazelle City. As for the engine, the turbodiesel four-cylinder YaMZ-534 with a volume of 4.43 liters was boosted from 170 to 310 hp. The same engine is used on racing bonnet “Gazon Next”, performing in rally raids.
As part of the Baikal Mile 2023, the GAZ team will try to set a speed record in its category at Valdai Next.
