Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Unrealistic System Requirements

The developers from CD Projekt Red decided to attack loyal fans with information flow. Gaming news comes from them in batches. And new video gameplay, and ray tracing demo. Now the studio is sharing new and definitive system requirements for the new Cyberpunk 2077.

Recently, the developers have already shown the minimum and recommended system requirements.

Now they have expanded this list and provided more detailed information, where they were not even too lazy to indicate the requirements for the game in different resolutions.

And, apparently, the last time the Poles did not lie when they said that the GTX 1060 with 6 GB of video memory is enough for a comfortable game at high graphics settings in 1920×1080 resolution.

More powerful systems with an RTX 2060 on board will be able to comfortably pull the game at ultra at 1440p, and the top-end RTX 2080 Super and higher are able to unleash the novelty in 4K at maximum settings. The requirements for running a ray-traced game are also pretty democratic. For low tracing settings, the RTX 2060 will suffice, and everything else is already oriented towards the new RTX 3070 and RTX 3080.

In tandem with any of the listed video cards, the developers advise using a processor similar to the Core i7 4790 or Ryzen 5 3600. For tracing, the level of Core i7 6700 or higher is required.

It turns out that the game will be able to work comfortably not only on top-end systems. Moreover, the optimization is made for the current generation of video cards and processors, so you won’t have to wait for Ampere and Big Navi to appear at maximum graphics.
