Curiosity rover sends impressive selfie from Mars

The American Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA has released an impressive new photo from the Curiosity rover continuing its work on Mars.
According to NASA, in early March, the Curiosity rover began to approach the rock formation, which scientists named “Mont Mercoux” – after a mountain in France. This hill is about 20 feet (6 meters) high, captured in all its glory in the new Curiosity selfie, as well as a couple of panoramas that offer a three-dimensional view.
A selfie showcases Curiosity against the backdrop of Mont Mercoux Hill with a new well drilled next to a rock sample called Nontron – already 30 sample missions to date.
Full resolution selfies of Mont Mercoux can be viewed here, a high-quality panorama made up of 32 individual shots is available here, and a 360-degree panorama of 126 shots is available here. Both panoramas were taken on March 4, 2021.
