“CPU requirements are bullshit.” Microsoft was caught hypocritically using Windows 11
Microsoft recently hosted a webcast for members of the Windows Insider program. During the broadcast, they also showed the new colorful design of the Windows 11 Task Manager. However, the broadcast had another unexpected consequence that caused a whole scandal on the network.
Particularly attentive viewers noticed that the demonstration used a computer that does not meet the Windows 11 system requirements – based on the Intel Core i7-7660U processor. Only 8th Gen Intel Core processors or later are officially supported, and owners of relatively new PCs with 7th Gen Intel Core processors are not eligible for Windows 11.
One of the first to notice this was the user AathifMahir on the social network Twitter. He left a rather low-key comment: “Unsupported CPU usage detected on Windows 11.” However, there were more emotional statements, even to the point that the company showed that the requirements for the processor and the presence of TPM 2.0 on the PC are “bullshit.”

Google has finally released Android TV 13 to real devices, but it won’t make anyone happy

Google quietly announced the launch of Android TV 13 for real hardware. Technically, Google announced the release of Android TV 13 late last year, but at that time it could not even be downloaded on the proprietary ADT-3 set-top box for developers.
Starting February 1, the update is available for download on Google for anyone with an ADT-3 set-top box. Google said in a brief update on the page:
Latest Update: The final release of Android 13 TV is now available.
So the final version of Android TV 13 is actually only available to a very small number of developers. However, this is already a big step forward. On the other hand, the timing of the release of Android 13 TV for TVs and set-top boxes available in stores has remained unknown.
