Corsair Saber Pro and Saber RGB Pro gaming mice introduced
Corsair has announced the release of two gaming mice, according to the manufacturer, designed for esports players and tested by the best professional gamers. These are Saber Pro and Saber RGB Pro mice. They are the first Corsair mice to use Corsair’s proprietary Axion “ultra-fast processing” technology and 8000 Hz polling rate.
The manufacturer considers the advantages of the new mice to be low weight, the ability to track very fast movements and a comfortable shape.
The basis of the mice is the PMW3392 optical sensor with a resolution of 18,000 dpi. A separate button allows you to select one of five preset resolution values, which can be quickly changed without resorting to software. The iCUE software provides access to settings such as the dual-zone lighting settings for the Saber RGB Pro. It may be important for players that the main buttons use Omron switches preloaded to reduce idle. There are six programmable buttons in total.
The weight of the Corsair Saber Pro is only 69 g, the Saber RGB Pro – 74 g. The dimensions of the mice are the same – 129 x 70 x 43 mm. A flexible USB cable with a paracord sheath is used to connect to a PC. Sales have already started.

A large and complex processor that looks like a little man. Amazon AWS Graviton3 go to market

Amazon today made available AWS Graviton3 processors, which were shown six months ago.
Like the previous models in the series, Graviton3 is server-oriented and created by Amazon itself for its own cloud servers. It contains about 55 billion transistors and is based on the Arm architecture. Relative to its predecessor, the novelty is two to three times faster, depending on the tasks.
But one of the most interesting features of Graviton3 is the design. Or structure. It is not so important how to call it, but what is important is that, as you can see in the photo, the processor crystals are arranged in such a way that they resemble a little man.
There are seven dies in total: the main processor, two DDR5 RAM dies and two PCIe bus dies. Another distinguishing feature of Graviton3 is that it is designed for three-socket motherboards, which is quite rare. Typically, the number of sockets, if greater than one, is a multiple of two.

Asus introduced a unique monitor with a frame rate of 500 Hz. ROG Swift 500 Hz received a TN panel

While monitors with frame rates over 240Hz are still rare, Asus took the ROG Swift 500Hz model and showed it. As you might guess, with a frame rate of 500 Hz!
At the moment, the maximum value is 360 Hz, so there is an impressive jump. The monitor is coming out as part of Nvidia’s G-Sync initiative, which means it will support the corresponding technology.
The monitor is positioned as a solution for eSports, which is logical, since the average gamer is unlikely to feel those same 500 Hz.
As for the rest of the parameters, the monitor is based on a 24-inch TN panel with Full HD resolution. Of course, this may seem outdated, but still we are talking about a professional tool, so for potential users, this is not all minuses. But the release date on the market is still unknown. It is possible that the monitor will be released only at the end of the year.

Now the SSD in PlayStation 5 seems to be slow. Apacer showed drives with speeds up to 13,000 MB / s

It’s been literally a year and a half since the launch of the PlayStation 5, which, among other things, impressed with its ultra-fast SSD. But a lot has changed in the market in a year and a half.
Apacer showcases next-generation PCIe 5.0 SSDs with read/write speeds of 13,000 and 12,000 MB/s respectively!
Recall that the Sony console has an SSD with a speed of about 7000 MB / s, that is, the new Apacer will be almost twice as fast.
The Apacer AS2280F5 drive does not stand out in any way. It has a heat sink, but overall it’s just an SSD. There is also the Zadak TWSG5 model, which is distinguished by the addition of graphene and aluminum to the cooling system.
There are no other details yet. In particular, the company does not name the controller used, but it could be the Phison E20.
