This article provides a comparison of telephoto photography on the iQOO 12 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro.

iQOO 12 Pro received a flagship telephoto lens with a periscope and an image sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels. The smartphone also has a built-in neural image processor NICE, which improves the image when zoomed up to 100x.

The iPhone 15 Pro only supports 3x optical zoom, unlike the 15 Pro Max which comes with 5x optical zoom.

First, iQOO 12 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro were compared with 3x zoom in a daytime scene. Here the difference is not so noticeable.

It seems that Apple has rushed the release of FineWoven cases for the new iPhone 15, as they receive more and more criticism from users and reviewers.

WSJ columnist Joanna Stern had this to say about FineWoven’s own iPhone 15 Pro case: “The edges are peeling, the fabric is scratched, looks like an old CD, and turns brown like a rotten banana.”

Apple scored a big green deal on the FineWoven case when it was announced alongside the iPhone 15 models in the fall. Replacing the company’s leather cases, Apple said the FineWoven material is an “elegant and durable new textile” and that it’s made from 68% “recycled material”. Amazing. But with FineWoven everything is not so good.

She also pointed to reviews on Best Buy and Amazon with user comments saying it was “the worst product Apple has ever made.” Surveys conducted on various sites confirm that the majority in each case chose the option “this is a piece of garbage.”

Fellow reviewer John Graber writes, “After five months, it really feels like FineWoven is a failure in terms of durability compared to Apple’s previous leather cases.”
