Relic Entertainment Studio and Sega Europe have officially announced the sequel to the famous strategy series Company of Heroes. Company of Heroes 3 will be released on PC next year.
Fans can get the Pre-Alpha for Company of Heroes 3 on Steam by joining the development process. Users who enroll in the CoH-Development program on the Games2Gether platform will be able to try out the game’s storyline campaign. Testing is free, and you can provide feedback during development and help strategy creators. Players who link their Steam account will have access to the Pre-Alpha any time before August 3rd.
Company of Heroes 3 brings the action to the Mediterranean, opening up opportunities for new tactical decisions, new factions and untold stories of World War II. The game is created on the Essence Engine 5. You have to command ground, air and naval forces, as well as build supply lines. In the story campaign, you will gain a new level of tactical control over the course of the battle. By “freezing time”, players using a full tactical pause will be able to coordinate all their actions at once, thinking over each move in the smallest detail.
We’re thrilled that players will be able to get started with Company of Heroes 3 in pre-alpha, and we will immediately begin receiving their first feedback. We’ve been collaborating with some of our wonderful community for many years now, and all of them have been instrumental in providing consistent and extremely meaningful feedback at every stage. We are now ready to share this opportunity with our fans around the world through the CoH-Development co-development program, made possible by Amplitude’s excellent Games2Gether platform.
