The MyDrivers portal, referring to the Chinese Academy of Information and Communication Technologies, writes that at the moment the largest 5G network in the world is built in the Middle Kingdom. This is also confirmed by Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China Liu Lihong.

At the moment, 718 thousand 5G base stations have been built in the country. And the Chinese do not plan to stop there. Every year there will be more and more of them.

Already, China plans to introduce next-generation 6G networks. The network rollout is scheduled to begin in 2029. The projected 6G performance will exceed 5G by 10-100 times, and the Internet speed will be from 100 Gbps to 1 Tbps.

As for the devices that support the fifth generation mobile networks, at the moment more than 300 such devices have been released. But in the near future there will be more than 500 of them. By 2025 there will be about 3,200 5G gadgets. And this is tens (if not hundreds) of millions of new subscribers.
