By information Bloomberg publications, the heads of the Polish studio CD PROJEKT RED took full responsibility for the numerous bugs that were identified by users during the global launch of Cyberpunk 2077. The company will not cut bonuses and bonuses to its employees for problems in the game.

“We underestimated the scale and complexity that must be overcome to make this game a reality, and yet you did your best to create and release an ambitious and special game,” wrote Adam Badowski, studio head and creative director of Cyberpunk. 2077, in an email to their employees.

Studio CD PROJEKT RED calculated bonuses to its developers until December 10, according to the game’s estimates on the portal Metacritic, provided that the threshold of 90 points (out of 100) is exceeded there. From December 10, this restriction has been lifted. The studio considered that this measure was simply unfair in the current circumstances. Now all bonuses will be paid to developers regardless of the game’s ratings.

CD PROJEKT RED team leaders give their employees additional bonus tokens every month, which are then taken into account in bonuses. With this system, in order to receive a large number of tokens, developers not only have to solve current problems, but also show their bosses that each of them works harder and harder than the rest of the team. This is provided that the studio management demanded from their employees to work six days a week until the release of Cyberpunk 2077.

Now, tokens and bonuses for employee overtime will not “burn out”, as they could if they were further tied to the ratings of the game by users. Currently, these estimates have begun to decline. And the studio’s shareholders, who used this parameter to independently evaluate the work of CD PROJEKT RED employees on the game, also accepted the position of the studio’s management.

In addition to the full payment of the bonus program, at the end of September this year, the CD PROJEKT RED management announced, which plans to distribute 10% of the company’s profits in 2020 among all developers.

After the release of Cyberpunk 2077, many users immediately started narrate about bugs and problems in the new game. Some of them believe that the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 is very crude, scripts in quests often do not work there, up to the crash or freeze of the game, cars fall out of the sky, non-player characters (NPCs) often get disconnected from the player when completing tasks and live their own lives, cars and enemies pass through the walls, the corpses of enemies warn their own about danger from the player, the main character gets stuck in textures in many places in the world.

AOKZOE has announced a portable console of the same name, which is based on the 8-core Ryzen 6800U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, as well as a maximum frequency of up to 4.7 GHz. It is noted that the TDP of the hybrid processor will be from 14 to 28 watts, which will increase performance if necessary. Separately, we note that the console supports both Windows and SteamOS.

In terms of performance, Cyberpunk 2077 on the console runs at 60 frames per second, Forza Horizon 5 – more than 100.

In addition, the console has RGB lighting, a gyroscope and a vibration motor. The novelty can be pre-ordered in July 2022, and deliveries will begin in September.

Earlier it was reported that Aya Neo is preparing a portable clamshell console called Flip. In technical terms, it is similar to AOKZOE.
