CD Projekt Red Improves Cyberpunk 2077 on AMD Ryzen Processors – Benchmark Results

Constant postponements of the release date did not help CD Projekt Red to bring a quality product to the market. The release version of Cyberpunk 2077 was filled with a lot of bugs, and one of the most common was the incorrect operation of SMT multithreading technology on AMD Ryzen processors.
The recently released patch 1.05 has fixed a number of bugs, including problems with SMT. The developers have optimized the use of cores in AMD Ryzen quad-core and six-core processors. This was confirmed by the test results on the OC3D portal.
Tests have shown a performance increase of 25% or more for a quad-core, eight-thread system; for a six-core twelve-thread – within 10-15%. The rest of the systems with more than eight active cores showed almost imperceptible performance gains. In some cases, he was completely absent.
