Virgin Orbit launched a seven-satellite rocket from California’s Mojave Aerospace Port on Saturday, marking the company’s first successful overnight mission. Virgin Orbit launched satellites into low Earth orbit using its Boeing 747 carrier aircraft called Cosmic Girl, which had a LauncherOne rocket attached to it.

The mission, named Straight Up after a song by Paula Abdul, involved the launch of seven NASA research satellites. As in previous missions, the launch of the rocket took place from a height of 10 km, which climbed Cosmic Girl. The carrier plane’s flight was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, but Virgin Orbit postponed the mission after experts found LauncherOne’s propellant temperature was “slightly out of range.”

In total, Virgin Orbit has already carried out five launches, four of which were successful (only the first test was unsuccessful). Virgin Orbit is owned by British billionaire Richard Branson, but should not be confused with Virgin Galactic, the company’s separate commercial spaceflight division.

The main module will most likely have a wide-angle lens. And 90 mm is the focal length of the lens of the periscope module. Of course, there will be optical stabilization.

Huawei novelties are also credited with SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Kirin 9000s, 8 GB of RAM and 128-256 GB of flash memory. These models will be the first to run HarmonyOS 3.0 out of the box.

General Motors is facing the same problem that Tesla long ago faced, and now Ford and Rivian are facing. The company offered the market a car that interested consumers a lot, they began to pre-order, but GM simply cannot produce enough cars. In this case, of course, due to the continuing shortage of components.

So far, about 77,500 people have pre-ordered the Hummer EV. This is quite a lot, but much less than the Tesla Model 3 at one time. However, Tesla had no problems with components and was actively increasing production. But General Motors now produces only 12 cars a day!

This is catastrophically small. Even Rivian has already reached the volume of about 30-40 cars a day, and Ford produces about 150 F-150 Lightings pickups.

The manufacturer says that it intends to significantly increase production volumes at the end of this year, but there is no exact data on this. And even with 12 cars a day, even a five-fold increase in production will be completely insufficient.
