Insider and YouTube blogger John Prosser shared on Twitter information about more affordable models of Apple Watch, which will be presented on September 15.

In his publication, Prosser notes that the new smartwatch model will be designed by Apple Watch Series 4, and will be available in two sizes: 40 mm and 44 mm. John also added that the inexpensive Apple Watch will not receive ECG and Always-On Display. According to rumors, this smartwatch model will be equipped with an M9 coprocessor, which was used in the iPhone 6s, iPhone SE 1st generation and iPad 5th generation.

The same information was confirmed by other authoritative insiders.

Earlier this month, journalists Mark Gurman and Debbie Wu of Bloomberg reported that Apple plans to introduce a replacement for the Apple Watch Series 3, which will compete with cheaper fitness trackers such as Fitbit.

In August, Apple registered several unreleased Apple Watch models in the Eurasian Economic Commission’s database.

Probably, the available smart watches will be called Apple Watch, and more expensive – Apple Watch Pro, as almost all other products of the company are already divided into regular models and Pro-versions.

Apple is expected to unveil the new Apple Watch, iPad Air, AirTags and other gadgets at the event on September 15.
