We have already written about the forthcoming flagship smartphones of the Xiaomi 14 series. They are likely to appear towards the end of this year – in November-December, but for now we have to be content with information from various leaks. Reliable insider Digital Chat Station again revealed some details about the older model of the series – Xiaomi 14 Pro. According to the source, the model will be released in two versions with different screens.

In one of the versions, the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone will receive a large flat display with a medium-thick bezel. Another option will also appear – with a curved screen and a frame of small thickness: the size of the “chin” will not exceed 1 mm. Apparently, the photos of this particular model were recently published by an Ice Universe insider, noting that the frame will be really thin.

As for the characteristics of Xiaomi 14 Pro, at the moment we know about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 5000 mAh battery. It was also reported that the smartphone will support 90W or 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is possible that different versions of the device (flat and curved screen) will have different charging speeds: 90 and 120 watts.

Today, Honor officially unveiled the Honor 90 smartphone. At a base price of $355, the device offers a lot of things, and most importantly, it finally has a completely new generation platform.

The Honor 90 is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a big step up from the Snapdragon 782G in the Honor 80. Another major innovation is the OLED screen with a very high PWM frequency of 3840Hz. This is twice as much as most flagships. Therefore, the display of the $ 355 Honor does not flicker, unlike the screens of the much more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23. The diagonal of the OLED panel is 6.7 inches, the maximum brightness is 1600 cd / sq.m., the frame rate is 120 Hz.

The front camera of the model is with a 50-megapixel sensor. In the main sensor, in addition to the 200-megapixel sensor, there is also a 12-megapixel sensor (with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and a 2-megapixel sensor (for analyzing the depth of the scene).

The Honor 90 weighs 183 grams and is 7.8 mm thick. The smartphone received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 66 W wired charging. Honor 90 is running Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 interface.

Prices look like this: 12/256 GB – $355, 16/256 GB – $395, 16/512 GB – $425.

Toyota is systematically working on expanding the Crown line – earlier in Japan, a flagship sedan was produced under this designation, and now Crown is a separate brand. It already includes a Crown cross-sedan and an interesting Crown Sport crossover, and now a regular Crown sedan has been declassified in Japan.

The car turned out to be really big: the dimensions are 5030 x 1890 x 1470 mm, the wheelbase is 3000 mm. That is, it is slightly larger than the BMW 5-series. Of course, the sedan is designed for five, in the base it has 19-inch wheels, in the top version – 20-inch.

There is no data on the motors, but the Crown sedan will be presented in two versions: a conventional hybrid and a hybrid with a hydrogen power plant. It is no coincidence that the sedan is based on the TNGA-L platform, on which the Lexus LS and the Toyota Mirai hydrogen car are built.

If outwardly the Crown sedan looks like a cross-sedan, then inside it is decorated no worse than a Lexus – with natural wood inserts and genuine leather. The space in the rear seats is simply royal. At the push of a button on the sidewall, the front passenger seat can be moved forward to provide even more legroom for the rear passenger.
