Is an entire era of Samsung coming to an end? In the latest renders, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is almost indistinguishable from the S23 Ultra, but the screen of the new product will apparently be flat

The Samsung Galaxy S24, as we have already seen today, will be practically no different in appearance from the Galaxy S23. Now it has become clear that the same applies to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The same insider Steve Hemmerstoffer, known under the pseudonym Onleaks, also shared renderings of the older model of Samsung’s new flagship line. And here, too, it is very difficult to detect any differences.
In fact, they will be, but they will either not affect the appearance at all, or very slightly. For example, a titanium frame does not change the appearance of the smartphone. But you can see that the side edges will become even less curved than in the current generation, although they will not be completely flat.
In addition, judging by the images, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a flat screen. The glass itself is curved very slightly, but the screen looks like it will be completely flat. If so, then the Galaxy S24 Ultra will end the era of Samsung flagships and curved screens, which began with the Galaxy S6 Edge in 2015.

Solving the overheating problem: iPhone 15 Pro Max, S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro were “tortured” by rain, water and complete freezing in a block of ice

Apple’s newest top smartphone continues to be tested online in a variety of ways, testing the limits of patience and what is acceptable. This time, the thematic resource TechDroider, known for its tests, published a video where three competing flagship smartphones are subjected to “torture in freezing water.”
In the announcement for the video, TechDroider joked:
iPhone 15 Pro Max overheating? Here’s a quick solution.
In the video itself, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro are tested together for resistance to freezing water. All three devices received IP68 protection against water and dust, and TechDroider decided to find out how they would behave after 6 hours of freezing.
To begin with, the smartphones were tested in rain and shower, as a result, all survived and showed no signs of moisture getting inside. Then the smartphones were placed in a container of water. At this stage, the author discovered that the S Pen stylus continues to work correctly with the Galaxy S23 Ultra even under water. As a result, all smartphones issued a warning about water getting into the USB Type-C port, and the Pixel 7 Pro even notified the owner when the connector was dry and charging became safe.
The final freezing and defrosting led to minor problems. Thus, condensation appeared in the camera block of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and all three smartphones lost volume and correct operation of the speakers. After the smartphones were allowed to rest for 24 hours without drowning or freezing, they began to work again as before. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max required a reboot to fully restore wired charging functionality.
