Best Android smartphones in terms of price and performance: the hit Redmi Note 12 Turbo shakes up the AnTuTu rating
The AnTuTu benchmark team has published the latest rankings of the best Android smartphones in terms of price and performance in different price categories – as of the end of June 2023.
In the cheapest category at a price of up to 1999 yuan (up to $ 276), Redmi Note 12 Turbo broke into first place, which managed to set several sales records at once, and also topped the AnTuTu sub-flagship rating twice. Now experts have noticed that Redmi Note 12 Turbo “shaken up” the situation and became the only smartphone in this price category with support for charging over 110W, the remaining 9 phones support around 80W. In second place is the latest Redmi Note12T Pro, while the third is occupied by OnePlus Ace Racing Edition.
In the next price category, from 2000 to 2999 yuan (from 277 to 415 dollars), the first three places went to Redmi K60, Nubia Z50 and Redmi K60 Pro.
The next price category, from 3000 to 3999 yuan (from 416 to 554 dollars), gave the first three places to Meizu 20, iQOO Neo8 Pro and Xiaomi 13.
The 4,000 yuan to 4,999 yuan ($555 to $692) category is dominated by the iQOO 11, Nubia Z50 Ultra, and Meizu 20 Pro.
Among the most expensive flagships above $693, the iQOO 11 Pro leads the way, followed by the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Honor Magic5 Pro.
The YouTube video platform team has introduced a new application called YouTube Create, which allows you to edit videos directly on your phone.
The new app aims to encourage more people to create YouTube Shorts, a TikTok-style video offered by YouTube. It’s generally easier to make a TikTok video than a full YouTube video. The creation of a separate app also follows TikTok’s strategy of releasing a separate (and popular) app called CapCut, which helps create videos for TikTok and other platforms.
The app offers tools such as precision editing and trimming, automatic subtitles, voiceover capabilities, and access to a library of filters, effects, transitions, and royalty-free music.
The YouTube Create app will soon be available as a free beta download for Android in countries including the US, Germany, France, UK, Indonesia, India, Korea and Singapore. An iOS version is planned for release next year.
