Bang & Olufsen unveils E8 sports version

Bang & Olufsen, famous for its beautiful, high-quality and sometimes very expensive audio equipment, introduced the first TWS headphones for sports (there are plenty of sports models on the market, of course): the E8 Sport boasts IP57 protection against water and dust, rubberized inserts for tenacity, as well as support for aptX and Bluetooth 5.1.

How is the new product different from the regular version? The first is the case: it is rubberized, with a ribbed pattern so that it does not slip out of wet hands. Wireless charging and USB Type-C connector in place.

The second difference is protection against water and dust according to the IP57 standard, which means that the headphones can be taken to the pool for training without fear. They will withstand immersion to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Playback control and activation of the transparency mode to hear everything around is carried out using the sensors in the headphones.

Battery life is 7 hours, with a case – 35 hours. 20 minutes of charging give 90 minutes of listening. There are all the necessary wireless transfer protocols: for iPhone – AAC, for users of Android devices – aptX. Bluetooth version 5.1.

Headphones Bang & Olufsen E8 Sport are available for pre-order on the site at a price of $ 350. Two colors: black and turquoise – the color “Tiffany”. The start of sales is scheduled for July 9th.
