Asus has officially announced that it will be holding a virtual event this week to celebrate the launch of new student-focused products.

According to the teaser for the event, the new product line will come with several pre-installed Google apps such as Google Classroom, Play Store, Gmail and YouTube. The source adds that we are waiting for the announcements of new Chromebooks and tablets.

The event is scheduled for July 15th. Asus has also confirmed that these new devices will initially appear in India and will be sold through the Flipkart network.

Since the devices will be aimed at students, it can be assumed that they will belong to the budget category.
