Asus Releases ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad for ROG Phone 3

The company today announced a new accessory for the Asus ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone, unveiled in September. The gamepad supports 2 modes of operation: “Game Pad Mode” or “Handheld Mode”. This allows the player to choose a convenient format depending on the type of game or personal preference.

The controller has 2 USB Type-C ports. The manufacturer indicates about 6 hours of autonomy.

ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad offers the user the following input kits:

• joystick-crosspiece;
• a pair of analog joysticks;
• face buttons A, B, X, Y;
• start button (L, R);
• function buttons M1, M2;
• shortcut buttons – Power / Home, Select, Start, ROG.

The controller allows you to fix the smartphone in the center, placing the gamepad controls along the edges, as well as to use the accessory separately when folded. The kit includes an additional bumper on the left and right. The comfort of the game is provided by a wireless connection.

The Asus ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad is priced at around $ 105.
