ASUS Registers New Motherboard for Zen 3

The silicon deficit in Chinese factories is still a hot topic among those who want to buy new processors and video cards. However, for those who managed to snatch a piece of silicon and are now waiting for new motherboards to be more powerful, the Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer is preparing a surprise.
ASUS registers new model of TUF series motherboard. According to @ harukaze5719 insider, it will be an improved version of ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS, which will receive the PRO prefix.

Apparently, PRO will indicate an improved power subsystem, which has always been the main difference of this console in the TUF line. If we compare the current motherboards from this series, they also differ in the number of connectors for fans, PCIe slots and other peripheral outputs. Some versions receive improved sound on the ALC S1200A chip instead of the ALC 887. Accordingly, the older model has an optical audio output on board.
ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PRO is likely preparing for powerful octa-core processors like Ryzen 7 5800X or even Ryzen 9 series models and will be able to overclock them without overheating the VRM.
