Observing the star system Kepler-138, located in the constellation Lyra (218 light-years from Earth), astronomers have discovered two giant water exoplanets, similar in composition to the moons of Saturn and Jupiter. This was reported in the press service of the University of Montreal.

In the past, we thought that all planets slightly larger than Earth were spheres of rock and metal. We have found that this is not the case for at least two planets, Kepler-138c and Kepler-138d, which are almost entirely composed of water. This discovery was the first 100% confirmation that such giant water worlds can exist.“, – said Professor Bjorn Benneke of the University of Montreal (Bjorn Benneke).

Scientists observing the Kepler-138 system using the Hubble and Spitzer orbiting telescopes. The images they received helped determine the exact mass of the planets Kepler-138c and Kepler-138d – they turned out to be 2.3 and 2.1 times heavier than the Earth. These values ​​turned out to be unexpectedly low compared to previous estimates, which indicates a low density of matter in the new “super-Earths”. Bennecke says this suggests that Kepler-138c and Kepler-138d are giant water planets with dense, thick atmospheres of hot water vapor.

He, as the name implies, will replace the CX-8. The CX-80 will be 4950mm long and the new model will be 25mm longer, 45mm wider and 10mm taller than the CX-8. Inside there will be three rows of seats.

The base for the CX-80 will be a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine. There will also be a 3.3L inline-six diesel engine, a “mild” diesel hybrid and a plug-in hybrid powertrain borrowed from the CX-4.

The premiere of the Mazda CX-80 is expected this fall.

The Zeekr X will be based on the Geely SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which is also used by Volvo. Verified online whistleblower Ice Universe posted new photos on Twitter showing the optical and digital zoom capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra flagship smartphone.

The pictures were taken with an ultra-wide-angle camera (0.6x), a main module (1x), as well as two telephoto lenses with 3x, 10x, 30x and 100x zoom.

Galaxy S23 Ultra, 0.6/1/3/10/30/100x. 30x zoom is beyond me. This is unscientific. Haha.
