ASRock Unveils Custom Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming

Following ASUS, ASRock presents its own version of the Radeon RX 6900 XT model, which until recently was announced only in the reference version from AMD. The Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming will ship with three fans, factory overclocking and of course RGB lighting.
ASRock Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming features a Phantom Gaming 3X cooling system with three fans and a massive heatsink along the entire length of the graphics card. Copper heat pipes pass through the heatsink. The design features of the radiator include deflectors that enhance air draft. An additional reinforcing frame is located between the board and the heatsink. The backplate of the model is made of metal, which also improves heat dissipation from the board components.
Three 8-pin connectors are provided to power the video card. There are three Display Port 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1 connectors to connect the display. Speaking of lighting, ASRock’s model has addressable RGB elements on the middle fan and outside of the casing. The backlight can be controlled by software, and it can also be turned off with a switch on the board itself.
In terms of technical specs, the press release shared by Videocrdz does not mention GPU and memory clock speeds, but ASRock promises “outstanding factory overclocking.” Obviously, the video card will work “faster” than the reference model Radeon RX 6900 XT, but how much remains a mystery.
The price of the ASRock Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming is still unknown, as well as the date it goes on sale.
