Apple has unveiled a new desktop Mac Mini featuring a fresh Apple M1 processor.

According to the developers, the performance of the new Apple personal computer, which retains the same classic design, is three times higher than that of the Mac Mini model running on Intel processors.

It also reported a six-fold increase in GPU performance. And high performance will be supported in more situations than the new MacBook Air, which also features the M1 chipset.

The new Mac Mini will allow users to run iOS apps and use Apple’s Rosetta technology in macOS Big Sur to download apps designed for X86 chips on the Arm architecture. The machine learning performance increase in the new Mac Mini will be 15 times higher than in previous models.

On the back of your Mac Mini, you’ll find two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support. This means you can plug the Pro Display XDR into your Mac Mini and run it at native 6K resolution. The case also features a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI 2.1a, Ethernet, and USB Type-A.

The new Mac Mini costs $ 699 (RUR 53,100), which is $ 100 less than the Arm-based Mac Mini.
