Apple unexpectedly quickly starts selling refurbished Apple M1-based MacBook Pro 13 at a good discount
Refurbished MacBook Pro 13 laptops based on the Apple M1 single-chip system have appeared on the official Apple website, which can be purchased at a noticeable discount.
A version with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD is available for $ 1,099 ($ 200 off), while an older version with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is available for $ 1,269, while a new laptop costs $ 1,499.
Apple also released MacBook Air and Mac mini based on the Apple M1 SoC late last year, but refurbished versions are not yet available on the company’s official online store.
This is a rather unexpected situation, because usually Apple sells refurbished versions of its previous generations of devices along with current new models. And now buyers can buy both the new MacBook Pro 13 with Apple M1, which only came out in November, or a more affordable refurbished version.
Refurbished devices are completely cleaned, they receive a new case, screen, battery and, if necessary, other elements.
