Apple is preparing new MacBook Pro laptops and other Macs soon to be released. This was told by the editor of the authoritative resource Bloomberg Mark Gurman (Mark Gurman).
The redesigned MacBook Pro is expected to debut early this summer. This was reported by some informed sources who wished to remain anonymous.
The MacBook Pro will be followed by an updated MacBook Air, a new budget MacBook Pro and a “brand new” Mac Pro workstation. The company is also working on a more expensive desktop Mac mini and a larger iMac. According to sources, the new Apple computers will be equipped with proprietary processors that will significantly exceed the performance and capabilities of the current Apple M1 chips.
Apple plans to release the redesigned 14-inch MacBook Pro (labeled J314) and 16-inch (J316) MacBook Pros. The laptops will also have a redesigned case, a magnetic MagSafe charger and more ports for connecting external drives and devices. Apple will also bring back the HDMI port and SD card slot that were not used in previous versions, which has drawn criticism from photographers.
Mark Gurman has a solid track record of leaking Apple products over the years. Last year, for example, he revealed the iPhone 12 lineup well before the announcement, and in 2019 – the iPhone 11.
