Apple starts advertising Apple TV and Apple Arcade subscriptions in iOS settings

Many owners of Xiaomi smartphones criticize the manufacturer for the presence of ads in the MIUI shell. However, as it turned out, the Chinese corporation set a new trend. Recently, ads have appeared on Samsung devices, and now it’s Apple’s turn.

The first to report advertising on iOS and iPadOS on his Twitter account was @tomwarren, senior editor of The Verge.

The American corporation began to advertise its own services on smartphones running iOS and tablets running iPadOS.

Apple advertises Apple Arcade streaming gaming service, AppleCare + extended warranty and AppleTV + subscription. Advertising offers appear on gadgets of different years of production and with different versions of installed operating systems.

Judging by the available images, the ads on the iPhone and iPad are unobtrusive and displayed in a small text block, which should not irritate the owners of Apple gadgets.
