Apple is preparing a cheap MacBook that can compete with “student” Chromebooks
There have been reports online that Apple is about to release a series of lower-end MacBook laptops. The Taiwanese resource DigiTimes, known for its connections with the industrial supply chain, shared the first details.
According to industry sources, the new MacBooks are designed to compete with low-cost Chromebooks (laptops based on Chrome OS) in the education sector. The official debut is expected in the second half of 2024.
As noted by DigiTimes, the series is likely to be separate from the current MacBook Air and Pro lines. The laptops will keep the metal case, but will be made from “other materials”, and the cost of mechanical components will be lower.

Razer has introduced the Blade 16 x Automobili Lamborghini Edition laptop, which is designed in the style of the famous Italian automobile brand.
Technically it’s a version of the Blade 16, but with a unique design. This design consists primarily of orange accents, but there are also Lamborghini logos on the body.
The parameters here are taken from the top version of the Blade 16. It is based on the Core i9-13950HX processor, and is paired with a 175-watt GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop. That is, this is generally one of the most powerful combinations in the mobile segment. The laptop also offers 32 GB of RAM, a 4 TB SSD and a 16-inch Mini-LED screen that allows you to switch between two modes: 4K at 120 Hz or Full HD+ at 240 Hz.
In total, Razer will release only 150 of these laptops, and you will have to pay a lot for uniqueness. The price of the laptop is $5,000.

If the first and second generation Surface Laptop Go started at $550 and $500, respectively, then the Surface Laptop Go 3 is asking for at least $800.
However, the buyer receives a significantly more productive solution, since the heart here is the Core i5-1235U, and the amount of RAM is 8 GB.
The laptop is also equipped with a 12.4-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels, which is no different from previous generations of screens. The SSD always has a capacity of 256 GB, RAM can be not only 8 GB, but also 16 GB. You can also note ports USB-C 3.2, USB 3.1, Surface Connect, and a battery with a capacity of 41 Wh. The dimensions have not changed and are 278.2 x 205.7 x 15.7 mm, and the weight is 1.13 kg.

The most expensive one will be the one with Core i9-13900H, RTX 4070 Laptop, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. For such a PC you will have to pay 1230 dollars.
From the rest we can highlight Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1 (x2), USB-C (x2), USB 3.2 (x2), RJ45 and dimensions 260 x 165 x 42 mm.
