Apple how to understand it? New AirPods Pro 2 are asking for battery replacement as soon as possible
According to some users of the new AirPods Pro 2 fully wireless headphones, from the very first days of use, they receive a message to replace the batteries in their headphones as soon as possible.
According to Mydrivers, the bug triggers battery change notifications from the Find My app on nearby devices when the battery of your AirPods Pro headphones or MagSafe charging case is low.
Since the second generation AirPods Pro uses the U1 chip for precise searching, enhanced Find Me, and transmits battery level information at any time, it is speculated that the erroneous notification may be related to these new features.
The notice urges users to replace the battery as soon as possible, but in this case, according to Mydrivers, it is enough to charge them. Especially since the battery of AirPods cannot be replaced. This notification is similar to the one the AirTag uses when the CR2032 battery is low and needs to be replaced, so the system seems to be confusing the two products.
It’s unclear how widespread the issue is, and Apple has yet to respond. It is likely that the error will be resolved with a software update soon.

Refurbished AirPods Pro 2 were $40 cheaper than new ones in the US

Last month, Apple began selling refurbished AirPods Pro 2 in Europe for the first time, and is now offering them in the US. Apple priced the new product at $209, which is $40 less than the price of the new AirPods Pro.
For now, Apple only sells refurbished AirPods Pro 2 with a Lightning charging case. In September, Apple released an updated version of the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C charging case, but that model is not yet available in the refurbished store.
When purchasing such products, Apple guarantees:
- That these are quality products at excellent prices;
- Careful repair process before sale;
- It comes with a one-year Apple limited warranty;
- It’s covered by Apple’s 14-day return policy;
- AppleCare insurance available;
- Engraving and gift wrapping are not available on refurbished items.

Noise reduction up to 52 dB, IP54, LHDC 5.0 and 38 hours of battery life for $55. Redmi Buds 5 Pro headphones presented

The range of Redmi wireless headphones has today been expanded with the Redmi Buds 5 Pro model. This is essentially an improved version of the Buds 5 headphones introduced in September. The Pro version has stronger active noise cancellation with three microphones and two speakers instead of one.

The declared efficiency of the active noise reduction system is 52 dB, while three levels of “transparency” are provided (transmission of background noise). The design of Redmi Buds 5 Pro is the same as the regular version, it has IP54 protection and supports LHDC 5.0 codec.
The maximum autonomy is 38 hours (the headphones themselves can work up to 10 hours without noise cancellation and up to 6.5 hours with the ANC system activated). The Redmi Buds 5 Pro costs $55.
In addition to Redmi Buds 5 Pro, Redmi today presented the Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70 and K70E smartphones, Redmi Watch 4 smartwatches, RedmiBook 14 2024 and RedmiBook 16 2024 laptops.

A special version of Redmi Buds 5 Pro with orange accents will be released for the titanium Xiaomi 14 Pro

Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, President of the International Department and General Manager of the Redmi brand, announced details about the special version of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro headphones.
For “passionate gamers” a special esports version of Redmi Buds 5 Pro will be released. Its feature will be an ultra-low latency of 20 ms. Judging by the teaser, the inside of the charging case and the ear pads of the headphones will be orange, like the accents of the titanium Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Earlier it became known that Redmi Buds 5 Pro support fast charging and offer excellent battery life. With just 5 minutes of charging you can get up to 2 hours of device operation. The headphones last up to 10 hours on a single charge, and when using the charging case, the operating time increases to an impressive 38 hours. For Redmi Buds 4 Pro, these parameters were 9 and 36 hours, respectively.
The presentation will take place on November 29.
