Apple has problems - iPhone 12 does not support some Qi chargers

Some Qi wireless chargers will not support iPhone 12 charging. This may be due to magnets inside new devices or to problems with wireless charging protocols.

iPhones have been using Qi wireless charging since the release of the iPhone X and iPhone 8 in 2017. This means that a large number of owners can use existing wireless chargers.

The bad news is that some of these wireless chargers will no longer work properly with the new iPhone 12. There are already complaints on the Reddit and MacRumors forums describing the inability to charge smartphones properly. Ironically, the gadgets work with older iPhones.

So, if you are planning on buying a new iPhone 12, you need to consider this fact. These devices already include the Zens Liberty, Mophie Charge Stream +, Nomad, Mophie 3-in-1 and Anker.
