Apple can still transfer its tablets to macOS, but simplified. Only the iPad Pro on M2 will allegedly receive such a system.
Perhaps Apple will finally transfer its tablets to macOS.
Rumors about such a possibility have been circulating for many years, but with the transfer of the iPad Pro to the Apple M platforms that are used in the MacBook, at least for these models there should be no technical problems with the transfer.
If you believe the insider Majin Bu, Apple really decided on such serious changes for its tablets, but with reservations.
According to my source, Apple will be testing a simplified version of macOS exclusively for the new iPad Pro on SoC M2. “Mendocino” is supposed to be the codename for macOS 14. A simplified version is planned for M2.
I’m currently talking about a macOS UI that’s 25% larger (I’m guessing this is an optimization for the touch screen). Applications will be the same as for the iPad, the system is macOS.
This could explain DaVinci Resolve exclusively for the M2 and a patent for a future version of iPadOS with Mac graphics leaked earlier this year.
Whether Apple needs to convert tablets to macOS, even in some simplified form, is difficult to say, given, firstly, the existence of various MacBooks, and secondly, the amount of work and money invested in the development of iPadOS.
As for the insider, Majin Bu previously revealed the exact data on the iPad mini and the colors of the iPhone 12, but in this case, the information is certainly much more serious, so it should be treated with a grain of salt.

Huawei has announced the start of open sales of the latest flagship tablet, Huawei MatePad Pro, which has become a pioneer in several respects.
The first region where you can buy Huawei MatePad Pro is China. Users are offered the following variations:
- Huawei MatePad Pro with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB flash memory – $711
- Huawei MatePad Pro with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB flash memory – $779

- Huawei MatePad Pro with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB flash memory – $957
- Huawei MatePad Pro with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory, stylus and keyboard – $1,135

The tablet is equipped with an OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels and an image refresh rate of 144 Hz. The hardware basis was the Kirin 9000s platform, as in the Mate 60 series smartphones. Also among the characteristics are a front camera (16 MP and 3D ToF), a main camera (13 and 8 MP), six speakers (two high-frequency and four low-frequency), a battery with a capacity of 10 100 mAh with support for 88 W charging and HarmonyOS 4 operating system.

The first PC based on AMD Ryzen 8000 processors has been introduced. The Minisforum V3 tablet will be very large

Despite the fact that there are clearly at least a few months left before the official announcement of Ryzen 8000 processors, Minisforum has already presented the first product based on such CPUs.
We are talking about a tablet, which is currently called Minisforum V3, but this is hardly the final name. The device will be based on the as-yet unnamed AMD Ryzen 8000 hybrid processor from the Hawk Point line. So far, all that is known about it is that its TDP will be 22-28 W, that is, it will be a model of the Ryzen 8000U line.
It is known about Hawk Point processors that these will be updated Phoenix models. They will carry the same Zen 4 cores, but the GPU will be based on the updated RDNA 3.5 architecture. In addition, the new APUs will have an XDNA block for working with AI.
Returning to the tablet, Minisforum is already talking about DDR5-6400 memory, two USB4 ports, an SD card slot, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The tablet will also offer a huge 14-inch screen with a frame rate of 165 Hz and QHD+ resolution, four speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a 5 MP camera, stylus support and a battery with a capacity of more than 50 Wh.
Considering that the current Ryzen 7000U has a very powerful iGPU, the new processors should be even faster in this regard, meaning such a tablet can also be used for games.

Samsung fan tablets are tablets without AMOLED screens. The parameters and prices of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ have become known

Samsung is gearing up to unveil its fan products, including the surprisingly more affordable Galaxy S23 FE, and multiple specs and images of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ have surfaced online today.
The devices will differ in size and a number of parameters. Moreover, both tablets, like the current Galaxy Tab S7 FE, will receive IPS screens rather than AMOLED. The younger model will be equipped with a 10.9-inch display with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels, and the older model will have a 12.4-inch panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The Winfuture resource does not talk about the platform, but tablets have previously appeared on the Internet with Exynos 1380. For comparison, the current generation, depending on the modification, offers either Snapdragon 750G or Snapdragon 778G.
The younger new product will offer 6/128 GB of memory in the base, and the older one will have 8/256 GB. You can also highlight water protection (IP68), a single camera in the younger version and a double camera in the older one.
It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will cost from 530 euros, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will cost from 700 euros.
