Apple A15 Bionic is able to compete with Snapdragon 888 even with the disconnection of some of the cores

The performance of the Apple A15 Bionic platform is so high that even with multiple cores disabled, it can compete with the best solutions on the market.

The iPhone 13 Pro scores over 1,700 and 4,600 points in Geekbench 5 in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. These are record numbers, far exceeding the capabilities of the flagship SoCs Qualcomm and Samsung. But it turned out that even when the low power mode is activated on the new iPhone, the results are still very high: 727 and 3497 points, respectively!

This compares to the results of the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 at least in the multi-threaded test. At the same time, in this mode, one cluster of cores is disabled in the iPhone 13 Pro, that is, either two high-performance cores or four energy-efficient ones remain in operation. Moreover, the result is more similar to the second option.

This is confirmed by the recent results of the large-scale test of the A15 Bionic, which, among other things, demonstrated the high performance of the platform’s energy-efficient cores.

The week began for the main cryptocurrencies of the world with a rise in price and the establishment of new price highs, and ends with a fall, and quite noticeable. Over the course of a day, Bitcoin loses about 4.5% of its value, and as a result, for 1 BTC now they give not $ 66,000, but about $ 60,500.

After Bitcoin began to fall, Ethereum was still holding, but its rate had already gone down too, dropping below the psychological mark of $ 4,000. Analysts believe that such a fall in cryptocurrencies is due to their sell-off on the part of investors – they are fixing profits against the backdrop of a strong growth in value that has been observed since the end of September. This means that after the current correction, Bitcoin may rush to new heights, but whether altcoins will follow it is a big question.
