Apparently, the Ryzen 7000 at the start really turned out to be overpriced. AMD has officially reduced the price of its CPUs by up to $125

Over the past few days, AMD processors in the US and Europe have fallen significantly in price. One might think that these are Black Friday discounts or a seller’s initiative, but today AMD itself has reduced the prices of its CPUs.

Apparently, the Ryzen 7000 at the start really turned out to be overpriced. AMD has officially reduced the price of its CPUs by up to $125

The online store on the company’s website now lists the same prices that you can now see on NewEgg, Amazon, and so on, if we talk about the US market.

Thus, we are really talking about a serious reduction in the cost of the latest Ryzen 7000 just a couple of months after their release.

The top Ryzen 9 7950X is now $574, the Ryzen 9 7900X is $474, the Ryzen 7 7700X is now $349, and the most affordable Ryzen 5 7600X is $249. Thus, now when choosing between Ryzen 7000 and Intel Raptor Lake, you need to focus on new prices, which significantly change the balance of power. Probably AMD lowered the prices, because with the original new CPUs, they often could not compete with Raptor Lake.

Less than 3 liters of volume, liquid metal and a discrete graphics card. Minisforum HX99G mini-PC is preparing for release

Less than 3 liters of volume liquid metal and a

Minisforum will soon release the HX99G mini PC based on Ryzen 6000 and Radeon RX 6000.

The novelty will largely repeat the HX90G model, offering a more modern APU. More precisely, it is based on the Ryzen 9 6900HX, and for gamers it is more important that the Radeon RX 6600M is used here. All this is cooled by a very massive CO with seven heat pipes, and liquid metal is used as a thermal interface.

Of the rest, two slots for RAM, two slots for SSD M.2 2280 format, a pair of HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, RJ45 (2.5 Gb), USB 3.1, USB 3.2 (x3), USB-C can be noted. The dimensions are 206 x 203 x 68.6 mm, so the new product is a very productive solution in its dimensions.

No pricing yet, but the Ryzen 9 5900HX-based HX90G is $800 as a Barebones kit. The novelty will probably be a little more expensive.

For those looking for more CPU performance for about the same money, Minisforum has the Neptune NAD9 based on the Core i9-12900HX. But this mini PC does not have a discrete graphics card.
