AOC unveils seven affordable monitors with docking stations
AOC has announced the release of the P3 series of professional monitors, which includes 7 new models with a diagonal of 24, 27 and 34 inches.
The monitors have narrow bezels on three sides, IPS or VA panels. All models are equipped with docking stations with four USB 3.2 ports and a USB-C port that can transfer up to 65W of power. The CW model is equipped with a 5 megapixel webcam. The QW model has a 2 megapixel webcam and 2 x 5W speakers. The CV model does not have a webcam.
The CU34P3CV is equipped with a KVM switch and uses a VA panel with 100Hz refresh rate, 1500R curvature, 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution. Other monitors are equipped with a DP interface and an IPS panel with 1080p or 1440p screens at 75Hz.
Sales will begin in February, prices are announced:
- AOC 24P3CW – 260 euros
- AOC Q27P3CW (1440r) – 350 euros
- AOC 24P3CV – 230 euros
- AOC Q27P3CV (1440r) – 330 euros
- AOC CU34P3CV (3440 x 1440; curvature 1500R; 100 Hz) – 440 euros
- AOC 24P3QW – 230 euros
- AOC Q27P3QW (1440r) – 300 euros

System76 – a well-known manufacturer of Linux systems – introduced the Gazelle laptop. This model is equipped with a 14-core Intel Core i9-13900H processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 3D accelerator, making it one of the most powerful laptops preloaded with Linux. The OS here is either Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS.
Gazelle has two options – with screens with a diagonal of 15.6 and 17.3 inches, but apart from the dimensions there are no differences: the specifications are the same, and even the screen parameters are the same – Full HD resolution and a frame rate of 144 Hz.
The maximum RAM (DDR4-3200 MHz) is 64 GB, the maximum SSD is 8 TB (there are two M.2 slots). The configuration also includes Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5 adapters, stereo speakers, a 1 MP webcam, and a 54 Wh battery. The weight of the 15-inch model is 1.99 kg, the 17-inch model is 2.41 kg. The cost is from 1300 dollars.
The range of MSI has replenished with a new monitor – G253PF. The device uses a 24.5-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution and a high frame rate of 380Hz. The declared pixel response time (GtG) is only 1 ms, the maximum brightness and contrast are 300 cd/sq.m. and 1000 : 1, respectively.
The MSI G253PF complies with the DisplayHDR 400 standard and supports Adaptive Sync and G-Sync frequency synchronization technologies. There are two video inputs – DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b, but the maximum frequency is available only when connected via the first one. If connected via HDMI 2.0b, the maximum frequency will be 240 Hz.

The GeForce RTX 4070 will be significantly cheaper than the RTX 4070 Ti. Nvidia has announced the price at a press briefing
The GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card won’t be as expensive as some rumors have recently claimed. Resource Videocardz says that at the last press briefing Nvidia called the price of $ 600.
This is in line with the recommended price of the RTX 3070 Ti at launch. It also means the RTX 4070 will be $200 cheaper than the RTX 4070 Ti when you factor in the latter’s discounted price. The RTX 4070 Ti started at $900, but then Nvidia lowered the price.
The specs we’ve mentioned so many times before are still being confirmed. The RTX 4070 will feature 5888 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6X memory, and a 192-bit bus at a TDP of 200W.
