Most of all, the Radeon RX 6800 XT rose in price – by $ 80. All versions of the Radeon RX 6800 have increased by $ 50. Radeon RX 6700 XT, RX 6600 XT and RX 6600 added up to $ 30. American retailers have significantly reduced the cost of Ryzen 5000 processors for Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday, but the discount season did not end there: the local company Micro Center once again lowered the cost of Ryzen 5000 – CPUs fell to record levels.

So, if on Black Friday the hit 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X cost $ 280, now you can actually buy it for only $ 250. Other members of the family also fell in price. So, for example, the Ryzen 5 5600G is offered for $ 220, the cost of the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700G dropped by $ 80 to $ 280. Ryzen 7 5800X costs 330 dollars in the US, Ryzen 9 5900X – 470 dollars, but the price of the flagship Ryzen 9 5950X remained at the same discount level – 700 dollars.

Despite the fact that the Ryzen 5000 is still more expensive than Intel’s Alder Lake counterparts, the competition in the segment has once again intensified. Firstly, the Ryzen 5000 can be installed in a cheap motherboard based on the B550 chipset, and secondly, they work with inexpensive DDR4 memory.

New details about Intel graphics cards have appeared on the web. More precisely, about the entry-level model with 128 execution units and 1024 shaders. According to the source, the GPU of this model runs at 2.45 GHz, and the video card itself has 6 GB of GDDR6 memory.

Earlier it was said that the entry-level Intel video cards of the Arc line will receive a 96-bit memory bus, but now the amount of memory has been confirmed. In terms of overall performance, it should be on par with the GeForce GTX 1650 Super. Considering that this is one of the younger models in the series, this is a good start. In a recent interview, Intel chief executive Pat Gelsinger said Intel Arc graphics cards will appear in the first quarter, although rumors have previously indicated that they will be released in the second quarter. However, there is one subtle point: in the Arc lineup there will be both mobile GPUs and discrete ones. And earlier it was said that mobile GPUs for laptops will be released first, and only then discrete solutions for PCs. It is possible that Pat Gelsinger was referring to notebook solutions.

The Arc A380 is expected to cost roughly $ 200. This is the official cost, but how much the video card will cost in retail is still a question. Probably, the announcement of Intel Arc video cards will take place at CES 2022 in early January, so we expect more details about them in the second half of December.
